Are Brillopak machines easy to service and maintain?

Brillopak machinery is designed with engineers in mind, removing unnecessary complex components allowing minimal servicing and maintenance preventing dreaded downtime!

What happens in the event of a breakdown?
Brillopak engineers are at hand to support customer engineers remotely in event of a breakdown. Brillopak quickly solve around 90% of breakdowns remotely with the use of software allowing Brillopak to access all elements of the machine, including live changes to PLC programs. Any breakdown that can’t be resolved via remote support will be promptly escalated and an engineer visit will be booked.
What is the most common cause of machine fault?
Put simply, poor product being supplied. Brillopak machinery is designed to be robust and allow for a drop in quality but it has its limit. For most of our machinery, we use vacuum which is a tried and tested means. However, if a product enters the machine without being sealed, this can affect the pick and place action, potentially affecting presentation and disrupting processes earlier in the line.
We have our own engineers, why do we need Brillopak engineers to fix certain issues?
Brillopak have in-depth knowledge and access to all functions within the machinery allowing faster fault-finding and a quicker resolution. However, with the right engineer, the requirement for Brillopak support can be minimal.
Can you tell me more about the camera fitted inside the machine?
All machines come with a camera fitted as standard for to allow for remote support. We mount the camera looking down so that it sees inside the machine, the product infeed and the container outfeed. While operators may be visible from time to time, they are usually unidentifiable due to the angle of the camera and the headwear worn. It is useful to see operator action as this can sometimes inform why there is a fault with the machine. Any repeat operator issues can be escalated to management. The footage is overwritten approximately every 5 days, the exact frequency depends on the resolution set (a higher resolution means footage is overwritten sooner).
